Wasted chances at the end - at least 3/4 opportunities to top the table

Tomkins was superb at RB today, and actually made a couple of cracking headed clearences from dangerous crosses.

Bloody hell some people are never happy
We just earned a well deserved victory at the home of one of the title contenders to kick off the new season, playing some lovely football & coming off the back of half a seasons relegation form
It doesn't get much better
As a matter of fact I thought Tomkins had a very good game at RB
Arsenal knew we were short of a bona fide RB & obviously tried to exploit that area. I thought Tomkins stood up well to the test & did not buckle all game
Tactically, Bilic got everything absolutely spot on including bringing on Nolan, for the excellant young Reece Oxford, to use his experience to run the clock down
The important thing after our 2nd goal was to make certain Arsenal didn't score to allow them back into the game, rather than getting another goal to put us top of the league after one game

I'd have struggled to find a negative to be fair. Maybe Nolan making the bench but even he did ok when he came on.
Was an excellent performance, tried to play football and succeeded. Defensive display was brilliant with at last some excellent outlets.
All new signings played well and our 16 year old had a £50m World Cup winner in his pocket.
Did you manage to see any of it
